Terms of Service

Glimpse is a service that creates a private gift website at a URL you pick (e.g. sara30.glimpse.gift). You add a list of moments — title, time, place, note, optional photo — and the recipient sees them unlock one at a time on the day you chose.

One purchase = one gift site for one day. Multi-day add-ons are on the roadmap; ask if you need one sooner.

$20 per gift. One private URL. The site stays live for 30 days after the event date so the recipient can revisit and share. We email you a week before it wraps up.

You can edit titles, times, places, notes, photos, and the closing message anytime from your dashboard. The event date itself locks once the first activity unlocks on the day — every time within the day stays editable.

When the 30 days end, the site is archived (no longer publicly accessible) but we hold onto your data for another 30 days so you can choose to extend or restore. Extend ($9 for a year), Lifetime ($19, one-time) and Restore-from-archive ($9) are coming soon — until then, email us if you want to keep a site live and we’ll handle it manually.

If the technology fails you— your gift didn’t load, moments didn’t unlock, the URL didn’t work — email us at hello@glimpse.giftand you’ll get a full refund. No questions.

If you changed your mind— refunds within 7 days of purchase, as long as the event date hasn’t passed and no activity has unlocked. Email us.

If you misspelled something— don’t ask for a refund. Edit it in your dashboard. That’s why the dashboard exists.

You agree not to use glimpse to:

• Harass, threaten, dox, or stalk anyone.
• Host content that’s illegal where you live or where we operate (United States).
• Impersonate someone else without their consent (gifting a surprise FROM someone else is fine; pretending to BE someone else is not).
• Upload images you don’t have rights to.
• Spam, scrape, or otherwise abuse the service in ways that degrade it for other people.

We reserve the right to take down sites that violate this section and refund any associated purchase. We’ll always tell you why.

Each gift lives at a subdomain you pick. The URL isn’t guessed-resistant in cryptographic terms — short common names like sarahcould be guessed by someone trying. The pages aren’t indexed by search engines and aren’t shared anywhere else by us, but anyone with the URL can view the gift.

If you’re planning a sensitive surprise (proposal, pregnancy announcement, anything you really don’t want strangers stumbling into), let us know — password protection is in the works and we can prioritize it for you.

You can delete your account and all your gifts at any time by emailing hello@glimpse.gift. Self-serve deletion is coming to the dashboard. Until then, we process deletion requests within 5 business days.

Glimpse is a gift website, not safety-critical infrastructure. The service is provided “as is.” If a moment fails to unlock at the precise scheduled second because the internet had a bad day, that’s on the internet. We’ll fix it if we can.

Our maximum liability to you for anything related to glimpse is the amount you paid us for the gift in question. We’re not responsible for emotional damage from a recipient not loving their gift, or for plan changes that make activities miss their scheduled time.

We’ll bump the “last updated” date above when we change anything material. For substantive changes that affect your rights, we’ll email anyone with an active account.
